PhylomeDB trees accessible through Genolevures
By tgabaldon
As of February 2012, all Genolevures gene entries with a sequence appearing in a PhylomeDB tree will have a link to the corresponding phylogenetic tree in PhylomeDB. In this way Genolevures users will be one-click away from a comprehensive phylogenetic analysis of their genes of interest, including orthology and paralogy predictions. Génolevures provides annotated sequence data and classifications for the genomes of eighteen species of hemiascomycete yeasts, including nine complete genomes.
With this linkage, PhylomeDB complements its existing connections with other major fungal databases such as Saccharomyces Genome Database and Candida Genome Database.
